  1. Annual Meeting of the Members

    This is the official notice of the Annual Meeting of Members of The Preserve at Honey Creek Residential Community, Inc. The meeting will be conducted virtually. You will also receive this notice via USPS.

    Meeting Details

    • Date/Time: Wednesday, October 29, 2025 – 6:30 PM (Central)
    • Location: Virtual meeting (online) – Access link and dial-in details will be provided by email prior to the meeting and also posted within the HOA portal and Community website.

    Board Governance & Election Information

    • The Association is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the Members at the annual meeting (or a special meeting called for that purpose).
    • One (1) board seat is available for election at this meeting. If you wish to run, please submit the attached candidacy form to management no later than 5:00 PM on October 22, 2025 so we can circulate candidate information in advance.

    Voting Eligibility & Allocation

    • Owners: Each Lot is entitled to one (1) vote. If a Lot has multiple owners, one designated person must be named in writing to the Association Secretary to cast that Lot’s vote (the total vote per Lot cannot exceed one).
    • Declarant Voting: During the Development Period, the Declarant holds additional votes as described in the CC&Rs (for each 1 vote outstanding in favor of others, Declarant has 4 additional votes).
    • Election Note: A portion of the Board may be elected by Members other than the Declarant at the appropriate stage of community transition; board composition and timing are addressed in Article 4

    Proxies & Attendance
    If you cannot attend, you may appoint a proxy in accordance with the Bylaws. Please return your signed proxy to management by 5:00 PM on October 28, 2025 (email or USPS). Owners attending virtually may vote during the meeting consistent with the Bylaws and the procedures announced at roll call. The voting will be open for 72 hours after the day of the Annual meeting.

    Documents & Records
    Current governing documents (including the Declaration/CC&Rs) and meeting materials will be available any time for reference via the HOA Portal and Community Website. Key provisions regarding governance, member voting, and Declarant rights appear in Article 4 of the recorded Declaration.

    Please note you must be registered via the HOA portal or Community website to cast your vote.
